AI Policy
Aurora uses artificial intelligence to support structured research, analysis, synthesis, and governed execution, not to remove accountability.
Last updated: September 15, 2026
Purpose and oversight
AI may assist with evidence collection, classification, analysis, scenario evaluation, drafting, and coordination. Human and governed oversight should reflect significance, reversibility, and risk. Aurora does not permit autonomous binding commitments, spending, protected production changes, or external outreach without required authority and controls.
Models and providers
Aurora may use approved model or infrastructure providers where appropriate to an authorized service. Selection varies with capability, availability, risk, contract, and customer requirements. Use of a provider does not endorse every provider service.
Minimization and authorized processing
- Use only information relevant to the authorized purpose.
- Avoid credentials, secrets, or unnecessary sensitive information in model prompts.
- Respect permissions, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property, and provider policies.
- Apply additional restrictions for elevated legal, financial, employment, safety, or reputational impact.
Evidence and limitations
Aurora seeks to preserve evidence, provenance, assumptions, and traceability where relevant. AI output can be incomplete, biased, probabilistic, outdated, or incorrect. It must be evaluated against reliable evidence and context and does not replace professional advice or accountable human judgment.
Prohibited uses
- Unlawful discrimination, manipulation, deception, impersonation, or surveillance.
- Unauthorized scraping, credentials, access, or control evasion.
- Malicious code, fraud, abuse, or rights violations.
- Presenting AI output as verified evidence or concealing material limits.
- Using AI to evade required human, legal, security, or corporate approval.
